Calm Nest Collective

Company Profile

Calm Nest Collective is a female-founded, neurodivergent-led consultancy creating sensory-friendly, neuroinclusive spaces and experiences for people in events, workplaces, hospitality settings, and public venues.

We design and deliver Calm Nest Spaces®, quiet rooms, calm corners, inclusive event consultancy, accessibility-informed spatial planning, workshops, and training to help organisations reduce overwhelm, improve comfort, and create calmer, more welcoming environments. Our work supports children, adults, neurodivergent people, people with hidden disabilities, and teams operating in high-stimulation, high-pressure settings.

What makes Calm Nest Collective distinctive is the combination of lived experience, mental health and social work expertise, and practical industry knowledge, which allows us to create solutions that are both empathetic and operationally realistic.

Calm Nest Collective is led by Nika Brunet Milunovic, a qualified social worker, MBA holder, and PhD researcher in psychology focused on mental health and neurodiversity in the events industry, with more than 12 years of experience across large-scale events and 7 years in corporate environments.

Our Social and Environmental Activities

Calm Nest Collective’s approach to responsible business is rooted in practical action rather than policy alone. We design sensory-friendly, neuroinclusive spaces with sustainability and wellbeing in mind, using upcycled furniture wherever possible, sourcing thoughtfully, and making choices that reduce waste while still creating high-quality, calming environments.

We also take responsibility for how we work as a business. Calm Nest Collective is a Living Wage member, a Mindful Employer member, and hold Carbon Literate certification. Our founder is a Mental Health First Aider, which reflects our commitment to fair pay, mental health awareness, and climate-conscious decision-making. These commitments shape both day-to-day operations and the way we support clients, collaborators, and crew.

We review our progress over time through the projects we deliver, the materials we use, the relationships we build, and the standards we hold ourselves to across wellbeing, inclusion, and sustainability.

A key next-step commitment for the coming year is to keep deepening our low-waste, people-first approach by expanding the use of repurposed materials and strengthening how we measure the social and environmental impact of our work.
