Change Agents UK is a charity and non-profit focused on education for sustainability, employability and skills for the future. We help organisations to recruit and train young people into future-focused roles, providing full support throughout the process, we deliver educational programmes to young people and with partner organisations to build knowledge of sustainable development, green careers and making the transition from education into skilled and meaningful work.
Change Agents UK is a long-standing charity and non-profit organisation, working to raise awareness and empowerment about climate change and sustainability. We offer a Bursary Fund for many of our Programmes to ensure those without financial means can still access and benefit from them. We have amplified our mission through blogs, free sessions and attending the House of Lords to discuss our contribution to The UN Global Compact Network’s report, ‘Measuring Up 2.0’.
We are Real Living Wage employers and REC members. Our environmental performance is audited each year through our Investors in Environment membership (iiE) and we are currently Silver members. We won Highly Commended for Best Social Impact in the iiE Awards 2023/4.
For a more local impact, Change Agents UK welcomed Root and Branch Out’s (R&BO) Community Fridge to our premises in April 2022. The Community Fridge collect and give out unsold food from local supermarkets to tackle food waste, and they have prevented over 11 tonnes of waste from entering landfill. CAUK Staff also volunteered at the R&BO allotment, planting hedges to inspire pre-school children to investigate nature through self-led learning.
