Conscious Business Solutions is a business consultancy working with small businesses that are ready to build a modern, sustainable business foundation, whilst tackling poor employee engagement and retention. The companies are taught to put people and the planet at the heart of business operations, so obtaining great systems, with happy and fulfilled employees.

CBS's core service is a bespoke conscious strategy. This is created in collaboration with the company to implement conscious business practices across their business systems and culture. They will:

- Create business strategies and operations practices that prioritise the wellbeing of the team

- Build a safe and uplifting work environment

- Simplify processes and procedures whilst remaining focused on company objectives and values

- Introduce an emphasis on sustainability

conscious Business Solutions believes in integrating conscious practices in its own business first and foremost. The company is small, young and with limited income, yet there are always activities that can be carried out to behave as a responsible business.

From a social perspective, CBS offers free services (such as an employee retention audit) to provide small businesses with suggestions on how to integrate more conscious practices. I operate with an open and caring approach to others. I always pay suppliers in a timely manner.

As Conscious Business Solutions is operated from home, there are limited opportunities to improve environmentally. The sorts of things that I do consider include reducing energy usage. For instance, I'll wear an extra layer in the winter rather than increasing the heating. I only print where absolutely necessary. I've also been deleting historical emails to reduce data storage. I recycle or reuse wherever possible.

There are always new things that can be put in place. Later this year I'll be building a new website that will be hosted by a green hosting provider.
