Company Profile

Dallas Consulting is a purpose-led organisation providing sustainability-themed consulting and training, conference keynote speaking, a national small business sustainability platform and national awards for small/micro businesses.

The Good Small Business Awards are pioneering as the first national sustainability awards embracing the four pillars; Planet, People, Profit and our own pillar: Purpose. These Awards provide a platform for small and micro businesses to showcase how responsible business practice has positively contributed to transforming lives, nurturing the environment and supporting local community needs.

Much more than a celebration evening! Driven by innovation, they facilitate ESG impact, education and research to help small/micro businesses in their sustainability journey.

In our goal is to help small businesses develop social and environmental resilience, we launched The Good Small Business Saloon online sustainability community.

Our Social and Environmental Activities

As a purposeful-led micro business we look to ensure that all of our activities are designed for positively impact on the planet and society.

Governance is a fundamental element of purpose so we maintain legal and regulatory standards as well as best practice compliance for our business and in advising our consultancy clients.

Our socio-environmental and ethical impact is the core of all our strategies and operations through the nature of our work. With a mission to save the planet one small business at a time, we are creating a collaborative movement to share social and environmental best practice in a number of ways:

- Consultancy keynote talks about governance, compliance and operational activities for good sustainability-led business

- Provide consultative education to large organisations to facilitate locally sourced SME supply chain engagement

- Collaborative sponsorships engaging and promoting local sustainability-led projects with our network of all size businesses to become active in the community to create positive impact

- Operating an online sustainability platform for small and micro businesses to learn about social and environmental impact and share practice

- Promote sustainability practice in The Good Small Business Awards that showcases authentic socio-environmental impact in small and micro businesses across the UK and provides each entry with an Impact Report from top industry expert judges that is designed as a tool to support progression in businesses sustainability journey.

- Facilitating large organisation ESG impact with engagement from local small businesses.

In our sustainability-led office culture, there is a paperless policy and we use double sided printing if print is required. We have engaged our landlord into improved sustainability in a grade listed building leading to LED lights throughout the building to save energy and individually controlled thermostats on every radiator so rooms are heated when essential. When travelling, we opt for walking where possible or trains as the preferred choice. Meeting people is an important aspect of community relationships however for general catch ups we arrange online meetings or phone calls. Our supply chain is limited to mainly IT and software or training so we select as ethically as possible.
