Sustainability Assessment & Action Plan

Following a short interview with you, I'll deliver a step-by-step plan to guide you in the right direction. Workplace & Environment:
- As a sole trader, I work from home and when I travel for work it's always via public transport.
- I monitor and record the amount of water, electricity and gas my household consumes and plan to make insulation efficiencies to my home office in October 2022.
- I support local businesses when I need to make a purchase for work or personal use when I can't buy that item second-hand.
Community:
- I volunteer one hour per week with a local environmental group called Sustainable Swanage as a butterfly surveyor. Butterflies and moths are indicators of a healthy environment and healthy ecosystems so their presence at my local nature reserve is important to continually monitor.
- I combine volunteering with mates rates marketing and project management work for another local environmental group called Planet Purbeck.
- I volunteer on an ad hoc basis for the Sustainable Swanage Business group. The last event we organised was to help educate small businesses on practical actions to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
- I make monthly charitable donations to Blueprint for all (Formerly the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust) and Freedom From Torture and gift my pre-loved clothes to Give Your Best. It's a fantastic concept, your items are viewed online and chosen by women who are refugees, seeking asylum, destitute, NRPF or with precarious immigration status and you post the items directly to them.
Customers:
- I invite informal feedback from my clients and build transparent relationships through regular communication and video calls or in-person meetings.
