Gareth, the founder of GreenWales helps organisations and communities turn sustainability ambitions into practical action.

His work combines sustainability engagement, programme delivery, storytelling and community participation to make environmental and social impact more visible, understandable and achievable.

Gareth has delivered projects across universities, SMEs, charities, community organisations and public events, helping people engage with sustainability through workshops, campaigns, behaviour change initiatives and hands-on projects.

Alongside consultancy and programme delivery work, Gareth is the founder of GreenWales, a platform showcasing organisations and communities already putting sustainability and Future Generations principles into practice across Wales. Through site visits, interviews and documentaries, GreenWales helps share practical examples that inspire action and build connections.

His experience spans sustainability, social value, circular economy, community engagement and large-scale event delivery, including work with Swansea University, Afanti Media, Beacon Cymru and the Urdd Eisteddfod.

GreenWales also delivers sustainability consultancy to SME's, delivers workshops aligned to the WFGA of Wales, and acts as a project manager and deliverer at sustainable events.

GreenWales aims to embed responsible business principles into how it operates as it grows. As a small, founder-led business, this currently means keeping operations lean, travelling efficiently where possible, making use of existing equipment and resources, working collaboratively with organisations across Wales, and being conscious of the environmental and social impact of the work I undertake.

I aim to work fairly and transparently with partners, represent the people and projects featured through GreenWales authentically, and prioritise collaborations that contribute positively to communities, the environment and the wider Welsh economy.

As GreenWales develops, I intend to continue reviewing its environmental and social impact and ensure that responsible practice grows alongside the business.
