We're passionate about helping organisations with a social conscience to show the world they care. We haven't just started doing this. We've been doing it for nearly a quarter of a century! As the founders of Conscience Marketing, a new style of marketing, we deliver a wide range of promotional services to organisations that genuinely want to make a difference to the planet and people around them.
When Mosaic launched in 2000, it was always with the intention of serving organisations that cared for others and the world around them.
Having spent more than two decades creating marketing strategies and training others in how to develop them, our CEO Karen Ainley realised that current marketing strategy isn't fit for purpose and has created a brand new approach to marketing strategy - Conscience Marketing. This new genre focuses on the 5Cs of Conscience Marketing: your Customers, Climate, Community, Colleagues and Conduct, and we embed these principles in our clients' marketing strategies. As part of our website development service, we offer green website hosting for our client's websites, guaranteeing that energy used by our servers is from renewable sources. By using renewable energy sources and energy-efficient technology, we are helping to reduce the carbon footprint of websites, in turn helping combat climate change.
We're continually trying to improve what we're doing to help others around us, whether it's supporting charity or community endeavours, enhancing opportunities for our staff or reducing our carbon footprint. That's why we've made a commitment to work towards B Corp status, a hard-won accreditation that demonstrates a company's entire social and environmental impact.
Although our carbon footprint is small compared to many other organisations, limited mainly to our travel and office energy costs, we are delighted to support the Essex Wildlife Trust's varied conservation programmes, as a Gold Member. Rather than offset emissions through the planting of trees, we have chosen our own local wildlife trust for the important work they do on our doorstep.
Mosaic also has a Charity of the Month, selected by individual members of staff. We either donate to good causes, fundraise or take part in charity events and have even paid for two Guide Dog puppies to go into training.
