Risk and Safety Plus is a risk management company, providing occupational safety, health, environmental and fire (SHEF) and related human resources (HR) advice and support services, we pride ourselves in being at the forefront of 'care' (not 'just' the 'duty' of care but real care) and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The whole team have subscribed to supporting our planet, our workers, our clients and our communities, in an ethical and sustainable way. Most, if not all of our workers get involved in community activities and as the MD, I have undertaken 30 years as a magistrate and 7 as a local Councillor, as well as actively supporting the local community centre and Business Improvement District.
Collectively, we have all committed to purchasing goods and services, including our own private vehicles, that do as little harm to the environment as possible, including proactive arrangements for office and home recycling and reduced reliance on consumption of natural resources.
We are already a fully-inclusive workplace, with workers from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds. we actively encourage every member of staff, whether employed or contracted, to participate in their own personal development plan (PDP), which attracts a 'significant' financial contribution from the company.
We have constantly sought to build and develop an approved suppliers list, based on quality first (80%) and price second (20%), although still trying our very best to get central and local Government and the rest of the public / third sector, let alone private companies, to do the same but they are all (mostly) still fixated with price.
Every year, we choose a charity to support and last year (2021/22) we supported SSAFA (Berkshire), through the Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) Mayor's Charity.
