We're a design-led furniture brand & our designers work tirelessly to create pieces that inspire & that will provoke awe!
By using sustainably sourced materials we create pieces that are not just functional, ethical & fits our vision but also ensure that the customer appreciates & enjoys their furniture.
We've got sustainability at the heart of everything we do at The TimberMaker.
-We only use sustainable solid wood to handcraft all our furniture so as to minimise the impact on the environment. Where our design permits we also use reclaimed wood in our production process.
-We do not mass produce & only make limited number of each of our designs therefore naturally as a result we use less resources from the planet.
-We employ people from Rural communities in Rajasthan, India (where our production studio is based), train & help them become experts in their trade.
-We use eco-friendly materials such as water based sealer & linseed oil to finish & polish our products, again to minimise the impact on the planet.
-We are not just sustainably minded but also ethically minded & customer centric. Unlike many of our competitors, we offer free delivery & do not take back orders from customers & expect them to wait 12+ weeks to receive their goods. Instead we take orders from customers only on things we have in stock to be able to deliver it to them within 5-10 working days.
-Our returns & exchange policy is fair & advertised clearly in our refunds & exchange page on our website making it a hassle-free experience for a customer.
