Wakari is a technology-driven accessibility maturity platform that helps organisations evaluate and improve both event and workplace accessibility. Our platform reviews infrastructure, culture, processes, and systems, generating actionable reports with tailored recommendations and priorities.
In addition to the software, we provide expert consulting, event and workplace walkthroughs, and accessibility awareness training to help teams better understand disabilities and how to plan for them.
By combining technology, consultancy, and training, Wakari helps organisations move beyond compliance to create genuinely inclusive workplaces and events.
Outside of the services we deliver, Wakari strives to function with sustainability, good faith and wellbeing of people and planet in mind.
In our first 3 years of operating, Wakari has implemented:
- Accessibility: Our website is WCAG compliant which means it is built to consider the needs of disabled people
- Tiered service pricing: we offer our suite of services to different sized businesses at different prices to ensure affordability for SMEs
- Training: Completed the ORB responsible business training to understand the fundamentals of embedding ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) considerations across all aspects of our business.
- Environmental consciousness: Consciously reduce the use of paper at work including
- Eco-friendly Operations: Function out of co-working locations that are sustainable and minimally harmful to the environment
- Eco-friendly Operations: In year 1 we also hosted our website with a service provider who is eco-friendly
- Employment ethos: We prioritise employment and partnerships with other small businesses and even charities where possible, and offer our contractors and freelances flexible working hours
