Wellity are committed to helping businesses embrace their responsibilities and manage the impact their organisation has on the wellbeing of their workforce. We believe that this responsibility starts at home and are always conscious of our duty of care to our workforce, our environment and the wider community. Our company is founded on a passion for promoting the mental health of the working community and we believe this begins with our own business. The creation of a mentally fit workplace is a continuous process and is built upon the foundation of a safe and secure working environment. We are conscious of our H&S responsibilities and are very proactive in assessing risks to both the physical and mental health of our staff. Training and personal development are both encouraged and nurtured and we are keen to encourage staff to play an active role in the running of the company, contributing their ideas and being very much included in business decisions. We are conscious of our HR responsibilities and use an online HR service for this purpose. We are extremely committed to the local environment and take what action is possible to minimise our impact on the environment. This includes car sharing, operating a paperless office where possible and being a corporate sponsor of the Essex Wildlife Trust. We are absolutely committed to supporting the community and previously appointed an apprentice who is now a full time member of staff. We also work closely with the local college and provide free training to staff and students and hold free mental health events for local people in the community. Similarly, we are keen supporters of our local Mind South East and Central Essex and recently worked alongside them for a charity awareness event. We are conscious to work with local companies where possible and work to support businesses in the community wherever possible. Due to the nature of our business we pride ourselves on our ethical values and always strive to work with integrity and honesty. The sensitive nature of our training requires a sensitive and empathic approach and we are always clear to manage client expectations and refer any service requirements that cannot be met by our own business. We also registered with the Data Protection Act and hold PL, EL and PI insurance.
